End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs your use of the House Of Inner Work mobile application (the "App") operated by House Of Inner Work ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this EULA and our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference.

1. License Grant

Subject to your continued compliance with this EULA and applicable payment of any subscription fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

2. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions (the "Subscriptions"). By starting a Subscription, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Length: Subscriptions are offered on annual and (where available) monthly terms. The specific term you select at the time of purchase is described on the in-app offer screen.
  • Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
  • Auto-Renewal: Your Subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Price Changes: We may change Subscription prices from time to time. Price changes take effect at the start of the next renewal period, after we notify you in advance. Your continued use of the Subscription after the change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
  • Cancellation:You may cancel a Subscription at any time in your platform account settings (Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will not receive a refund for the period already paid, except where required by law.
  • Free Trials: If a free trial is offered, you will be charged automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. If you cancel during a free trial, you immediately lose access to Subscription features.
  • Restore:You can restore previously purchased Subscriptions on a new device by signing in with the same Apple ID or Google Play account and using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App.

Subscriptions are processed by the applicable platform (Apple App Store or Google Play). All billing, refunds, and tax matters are handled by the platform in accordance with its policies. We do not have access to your payment card details.

3. Account and Eligibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or older, where required by your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to this EULA.

Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Health and Safety Notice

The App offers breathwork, meditation, and reflective practices. These are educational and somatic practices for personal development and wellbeing. They are not medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment and are not a substitute for professional care.

Do not use the breathwork features while driving, operating machinery, or in any environment where altered breathing patterns could be unsafe. If you are pregnant, have a respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, or psychiatric condition, or are under the care of a physician for any condition, consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any breathwork or meditation practice.

Stop any practice and seek professional guidance if you experience dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath, fainting, or significant emotional distress.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the App.
  • Rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise transfer the App or your license to use it.
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our services.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App, other accounts, or systems connected to the App.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and all content made available through it — including text, audio, video, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by House Of Inner Work or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

7. User Content

The App may allow you to create or store personal notes and reflections ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and process your User Content solely to operate the App for you. We will not use your personal reflections to train models or share them with third parties.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any specific results will be obtained from use of the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL HOUSE OF INNER WORK, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR PERSONAL INJURY) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP OR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless House Of Inner Work and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of this EULA, or your violation of any third party's rights.

11. Termination

This EULA remains in effect until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any term. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the App and canceling any active Subscription. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

12. Changes to this EULA

We may update this EULA from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by other reasonable means. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated EULA.

13. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which House Of Inner Work is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising under this EULA will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer protection laws give you the right to bring claims in your local courts.
